Registered Charity
Trees for Travel is registered by the Dutch tax office as charity. We have chosen to be a non-profit Non Governmental Organisation with an unpaid and independent board of trustees which includes experts in the fields of travel, marketing, overseas development, forestry, and ecology. The paid staff comprises passionate professionals who prefer to help the world become a better place to having a large income. We also have many active volunteers. All our work is carried out under professional conditions. Our motto is "We are businesslike but not commercial".

We want this to be confirmed by an independent organisation and are therefore in the process of applying for the Netherlands Central Fundraising Bureau (CBF) Charity Hallmark. This is taking longer than expected but this is part of the process.
