Why do greenhouse gases need to be offset?
Greenhouse gas emissions from flight travel promote the greenhouse effect and as such Trees for Travel believes that people should take responsibility for their own contribution. Furthermore, airline companies are not taking the initiative and neither has there been any governmental action to offset emissions.
